Multimedia exhibition dedicated to the work of Van Gogh

About event

The Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan presents a new multimedia exhibition project, "Being Van Gogh."

On December 8, 2025, the Tashkent City Mall will open a multimedia exhibition, "Being Van Gogh," dedicated to the life and work of one of the most significant 19th-century artists, Vincent van Gogh. The exhibition will replace the previously presented exhibition dedicated to the Jadids and continue the tradition of creating large-scale educational and cultural projects.

The Foundation previously presented the exhibition for the first time and received a wide response from viewers. For this new show, the exhibition was specially adapted to the 1,400 square meter space, expanding the visual content, deepening the narrative, and presenting Van Gogh's work even more fully and profoundly.

The new version of the exhibition consists of two main shows and three separate zones, each revealing in detail the artist's personality, his inner world, his creative path, and his emotional legacy. Additional thematic materials and an expanded visual series allow viewers to better understand the evolution of his style, character, experiences, and life context.

"Being Van Gogh" is a multimedia project offering a new interpretation of the artist's biography. Visitors will be able to trace Van Gogh's journey from his search for self-worth and early creative experiments to the formation of his distinctive artistic language and subsequent recognition. The exhibition demonstrates the significance of his legacy and his influence on global art and contemporary culture.

The exhibition reveals the significance of Van Gogh's legacy for art and highlights his influence on contemporary culture. Millions of people around the world continue to be inspired by his work, and the artist's works remain a symbol of inner strength, honesty, and a desire for light.

The exhibition will open on December 8, 2025, and run for three months.
